This M3 Snake features Hitec HSR-5995 servos, which are 4 times as powerful as the servos in all of the previous snakes. This increase in servo torque will be useful in Pole and Tube climbing, and will make this snake generally superior and stronger than any of the lab's previous snakes.

Pepperoni preserved much of the same design as Breadstick, except featured a major overhaul in the snake's electronics. RS-485 boards are placed inside Pepperoni's servos, which allows Pepperoni to forgoe the usual quantity of signal wires.
